How Much Insulation Do You Need?
The amount of insulation a home should have will vary depending on where it is located and how it is built. The U.S. Department of energy has put together thermal recommendations based on geographic zones. (See Below)
Insulation is identified and labeled by R-value. “R” stands for resistance to heat flow. The higher the R-value, the greater the insulating power.
